Perth Amboy Spring is a full service suspension shop. We have been offering quality parts and service since 1945 to the central New Jersey area. As a family business for three generations, we pride ourselves in quality customer service. The company was founded by Carl Venezian right in the heart of Perth Amboy in 1945. The company has a tradition going back to the turn of the century. His son Joseph Venezian Sr. then took the business over in 1948. Joseph Venezian Sr. moved the business to its current site on Sheridan St. in 1963.  His son Joseph Venezian Jr. joined the company in 1977and then, with the early demise of his father, Joe Jr. took over in 1984.

     The building as well as the services  have grown immensely over the years. Starting as a black smith shop, building and installing springs, our services have grown to include all types of suspension work, welding, fabricating, machining, and alignments. Our product lines have also increased to include all new and late model springs, spring pins, shackles, hangers, saddles, equalizers, u-bolts, threaded rods, body bolts, cap screws, king pins, coil springs, brake shoes, ect.. . So as you can see we are able to service     all of your suspension and brake needs in  a timely fashion to minimize your down time.  

Since the late 1950's Perth Amboy Spring Works has been involved as a NASCAR Modified Race Car sponsor . With such noted names as Bobby Allison, LeeRoy Yarborough, Wally Dallenbach, and many other northeast stars. Today we are the proud sponsor of 1990 NASCAR Featherlite 

Modified Tour Champion Jamie "The JET" Tomaino and his JT Motor Sports Team. Currently the team is in the top 10 in points Nationally. With all the television and newspaper coverage, race car sponsorship provides a great marketing tool for our business.

    During the past year Perth Amboy Spring has further expanded it's operation with the addition of  P.A. System Brake. Formally F&P>New System Brake.   

 

    F & P BrakeLyne was founded in 1919 by the  late   Frank Pagano Sr. They started working on overhauling transmissions, replacing brake linings, and making other repairs on Model T Fords, Packards, Buicks, Pierce- Arrows and the like.

     Even though Henry Ford's revolutionary assembly line innovations  could produce a Model T in about 1 1/2  hours, it required more than 5 hours to replace a brake band. The clutch and transmission had to be removed to reach the brake band. So Frank Pagano Sr. designed a " T " tool that could be inserted to cut and replace the band without removing other systems, reducing replacement time from hours to minutes.

     After World War II Frank senior was joined by both of his sons Frank Jr. and Bob Pagano. Frank Jr. headed up the brake division and brother Bob began Coni-Seal. P.A. System Brake carried on the tradition of its forefathers with Frank Jr's son Tom . Tom has since moved to Florida.  Todd has worked under Tom and is now heading the brake department. We can currently handle all of your brake needs in-house, from relining to installation.
